Old fingerworks site

Post by Minox »

I read somewhere that all the original images and such are still ON the fingerworks site just not linked to. Is it possible to download the site tree worth of files even though the files aren't linked to?

I've tried programs like wget but have not found the solution.

hmmmmm....you might try just banging around at some naming conventions to see if you can stumble upon them.

I saved a copy or the FingerWorks Site-Map before it has been reduced to what it is now.
I could upload it to the Wiki DownloadArea.
Here is a direct link to this on-line FWSiteMap copy
From this page, you can jump to some unlinked still-on-line files. But many links won't work.

For instance this links still work:
Gesture, Macro, and Key Layout Customization Tool
XWinder: The Future of Window Manipulation

And I remember saving many other pages that may have been deleted since then.

And you can also get some here: <img src="http://web.archive.org/images/wayback_logo_sm.gif">
