A TouchStream LP minus the gel pads and one rubber foot:

Shipping to USA only. Cheap at the moment, but no doubt it'll get more expensive...

NEW TouchStream LP Silver DVORAK (on eBay $1 no reserve!)

Post by d.brophy »

p.s. apologies for the double post...

This might just be the last silver DVORAK Touchstream in this condition. I bought it new last year, and only used it for half an hour. It's been sat on a shelf in it's original box since then. EBay auction here

I bought it just before FingerWorks was taken over and stopped producing this amazing keyboard. This keyboard comes in it's original box with all manuals, quick-start gesture cards and CD!

This keyboard is the ultra-rare silver DVORAK version. The DVORAK key-layout is optimized for touch typing (it's not QWERTY). I'm based in the UK, but I'll happily ship this keyboard to the USA or Europe for an extra £30 (~$50).

I've put this keyboard on eBay with a £1 starting bid with NO RESERVE!

Warning about 'second chance' fraud

Post by The Juggler »

I lost in one of the above auctions and got a fake 'Second Chance Offer' email from someone trying to get details/payment out of me -- here is a page about the scam:

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/10/05/ebay_scam_ruse/

They may be targeting TouchStream keyboards as they are expensive/rare, so I thought I would post a warning here.

You can check whether an offer is genuine by logging into the ebay site and going to 'my ebay' then 'messages'.

 Another?
:?: Or is it the previous one playing hide-and-seek with a bunch of wallets?
 Just have a look at the pictures and what''s in the bundle...

Or somebody didn't want/bother to make own photos and just nicked them from another auction. Could still be two separate units.

I have mailed with that Hong Kong seller -- doesn't seem "dicey" to me.
Back in April when I had an iGesture NumPad for sale, he sent me a question about the reserve price. He made many bids but didn't win in the end.

"Dicey"... redux

Post by optimist1125 »

No harm meant. Rather than thinking about the individual, I was thinking about the zero bids and the whole shipping thing, resulting in apparently no activity.

I've already made another post about this but I figured I would post here too for those that have their notifies set to this post.

I am selling my beloved TouchStream LP even though it pains me to do it. Please take a look at the auction here. Give it a good home, please!

I notice your auction specifies US shipping only. Would you be prepared to ship to the UK?

Daniel.

I would be prepared to ship to the UK if you win the action, no problem. I have edited the listing to reflect this.

If you have a big money pile, here is an opportunity to get rid of a significant part of it...
