Sensor chips

Postby John Meacham » 15 Jul 2005, 02:47

Has anyone taken apart a touchstream and can post high-res scans of all sides of the circuit boards.

AFAICT the design it two sandwitched boards, a bottom layer with the control circuitry, and a top layer with a grid of sensor chips. If someone could tell me which chip the sensor chip is too that would be great.

Can we start a topic for fingerworks technology and e-field sensing technical discussion? Eventually, we are going to have to start servicing our own touchstreams or building replacements.

I started a FW technology speculation thread here.
Using a Touch-Stream since December 2003.
