I received two files from Thorben xilinx1.jed and xilinx2.jed

Any clue of which one is the left-hand side file ?

Bad news, the repairs were at first successful, but after two weeks the upper left side of the keyboard started failing again. Sometimes it is dead, sometimes it comes alive with hiccups (looking like statics, even though i have it on an an static mat)"

That is sad news - after having come so far! Can it be that the solderings which you mentioned had been repaired need some more attention?

What about the ribbon cable? Isn't that section appearing intermittently dead usually due to the ribbon cable?

@ahales, what did you use to program the FPGA? What software? what programmer?
