DIY (Do It Yourself) Multitouch

Hey,
Just ran across an article/howto on building your own multitouch projection screen. The technology is different than touchstream, but still cool. Thought others here might be interested; I hope to build one for myself soon.

This is very cool. I just ordered over 200 IR Leds for my own little multitouch project. It looks pretty easy to build, if anything even without the projector, you could theoretically at least have mousing on that large surface and keyboarding somehow.

yea, I've got 100 IR LEDs on the way myself. I may have to get a new camera as I'm not sure if my webcam has an IR filter; if it does I can't see it so it'd be difficult to remove. I plan to build one w/o a projector as that's the only really costly component and certainly is not necessary.
