I had a problem with my board and I noticed that it has not been upgraded for a looong time. I was hesitant for fear of breaking even more (there have been problems in the past) but I couldn't resolve the issue by tinkering. I caved and (after taking proper backups!) upgraded to version 3.3.0 using this guide. The wizard is pretty and looks professional -- that makes for a great experience.
Guess what? It worked flawlessly! (As far as I can tell so far.)
