pretty low tech, very low cost.
I wonder how FW gesture software could be adapted to use this.
One could also build special acoustical boards with enhanced sensitivity. Lots of prospects.

Maybe a very big cutout, imagine a 4' x 8' sheet of plywood with this applied to it, you could do fully body gestures. Brings new insights to the prospects of interactive community computing.
