I hate that they are granting patents for gestures. It's like patenting the arrangement of letters on the QWERTY keyboard. We get used to a UI and we get stuck because it is so difficult learning a new UI. So the company can keep customers even after the product has become poor.
Are we really going to have to learn a different set of gestures for each product, even for the same basic tasks on all the products? It's like pressing my left index finger on keyboards and getting a "G" on one product but getting a "P" on another product.
"Ah nuts" is right!
