I think "Prometheus" would have been a better pseudo than "pythagoras".

I think as long as you completely remove the "US" layout from your account in windows, your login will be in dvorak. I forget exactly how I got it to work, but it's doable.

A few days before this auction ended, it seems someone got a good deal on a Buy It Now.

I need to check out the auction sites more often, methinks.

Yeah, I saw that yesterday. Emailed the auction around to some other people I know who own/use these input devices.

Insanity, I say.

I would say that is a good price. The regular iGesture boards are going for more.

I'm sure others are wondering - exactly where did you get it and are there more?

If you plan on removing the builtin keyboard and replacing it with a MacNTouch, all that matters is that the keyboard space is large enough for the MacNTouch to fit. If the space is too large, you could get some cardboard and mask out any exposed innards. Depending on whether you have a white or sil...

I would suggest using Velcro, or the 3M interlocking stuff (IMO, the 3M stuff is much better than Velcro, but harder to find).

"SP" is a misnomer. If anything, it would be a "ST" or a "Stealth". That is one of the older boards that is attached to the tent stand. I have one and I prefer it to the newer LPs.

Hm. True enough. Just make sure you wrap some pantyhose around the fan(s) that are sucking in air into the box.

FWIW, I used to have a nice Thermaltake HSF on my CPU (this was a couple years ago) and it kept it reasonable cool, but the fan was quite loud. Eventually, I replaced it with a cheapo HSF from Compoosa, and now it's much quieter and is about as hot. Personally, I would go the route of biggest heatsi...

Actually, I just use Quicksilver to do all of that when I'm on my Mac Mini at home, that uses a MICROS~1 keyboard, with Dvorak layout.

I would describe the situation that I'm currently in to be a "transitional period". I started switching to Dvorak about 2 months ago now. I started by using the ABCD tutor, to help me memorize the Dvorak layout. A few weeks later I found DVzine.org as another reference. Learning the layout is easy; ...

Re: The TypeMatrix 2030 is great!

I'm almost two weeks into using the 2030, and it's great. Of course, there are no gestures, but it also costs hundreds less than the TouchStream. I've looked at that keyboard mostly as a good Dvorak keyboard, not as a replacement for my TouchStream. It's kinda annoying how few Dvorak-in-the-keyboar...

MacNTouch USB internal extension cable

After a private message from Dan , I thought that it would be useful to bring this subject to the forums, and see if we can get any more info on the matter. The silver MacNTouches, depending on which size PowerBook it was destined for, came with an internal flat/flex/ribbon USB extension cable that ...

I believe the xml file that you upload is more like a differential file from the keyboard's default. I would suggest that it would be easiest to just set up both keyboards manually via the MyGesture Editor. And my \| seems to work fine on all my keyboards, but then again, they are all QWERTY keyboar...

I'm going to stick my neck out and say no, it's not possible. Reason: I backed up my XML configuration file then changed mousing to the left side and saved a new file.
