Now you mention it, I do notice what you get when magnetic edge is set to none. If I did not at first, it may be because I have recently upgraded my hardware and a good CPU-GPU combination may hide the whole thing. It is noticeable when you drag a window in a very oblique path against another or the...

Got it!... Why did they do that :?: Yea, I know, must be a mistake... No one hurt but we are lucky to have aircraft pilots and flight engineers that are less prone to mix up things than ITs are

BTW, it is still on line: setupfw153.exe

So, it is possible to effectively take advantage at using XWinder . The issue of window positioning is poorly addressed by the native display management that any basic tool may fill the gap somehow. I am currently using a small utility program I found by chance on a French forum topic about the 2405...

Those installed from the setupfw160.exe seem to be the last available as long as links to the on-line version are broken. They used to be accessible from the Source File List paragraph of the XWinder site page. BTW Magnetic edges strength adjusments work like a charm on my XP box. Though, I must say...

Everything is in the setupfw160.exe file that you can download from the install page on FingerWorks site . It is an archive file that, with the help of a smart tool like WinRAR, you can search, and find: InstalerData/Disk1/InstData/Resource1.zip ...which contains (among many other files)... C_/dk/sd...

:D I love my TS! +1 here. One more noticeable step in this direction for me comes from my current experience with the new TypeMatrix I am training with. I already like this one better than my old MS-Natural, but it can't compare to the TouchStream. It looks like we have found the best device so far...

Just escaped from Lee Griggs's Members' introduction thread where we've been caught completely off-topic  I still use the same style of typing on a mechanical keyboard as I always did (which is like touch typing but not using the right fingers), because the layout is different enough that ot...

Yea, I am pretty sure that most of us knew already about what I've described here - and I am one of them  What I've re-discovered is the not so obvious tensing that comes from the care for accuracy. Another way to explain what I am up to could be by saying that the accuracy concerns only the t...

Gesture tips anyone ?

I've just discovered something I want to share as I would have liked to get this kind of tip if some TS user found it before I did. I think that some of the TouchStream owners already know about this but they did not think that it would have been a good idea to share it here. Here it is: A worth men...

I have not verified all the details about what I am saying here but as I recall, discrimination between typing and gesturing involves the following timers: Key typing is registered as soon as touchdown and liftoff from the same finger have been detected. 400 milliseconds after some finger touchdown,...

Thanks Shawn, its good to know what can be accomplished in the long run when you have to invest as much as it takes to get comfortable with a work tool. I received mine last Friday as expected -- less than one week and 26$ to reach France. I like it alright! Non-staggered, silent, small, transportab...

You may find something with Gibablast if you look for DFU mode (Device Firmware Upgrade) in the FWSF archive. I remember having read things about what happens while upgrading.

I did notice the positive aspects of you review. What I was pointing out was the fact that mentioning some flaws gives more meaning to them. An unconditional praise would not have the same touch of reality. Did you order directly from the company? You can get 2030 much cheaper at Amazon, at least in...
