It's always interesting to get stories about historical events like an iPhone birth. For the time being, it looks as good as could be expected by FingerWorks followers. What we can see from Steve Jobs big show is the result of a great job. Still, it is amazing how easy it is for him to claim all the...

OK, not a timing problem then. At this point, the only difference between this gesture and another that works is a missing ChordLift. Maybe a ChordHold and a Synctap cannot coexist unless a ChordLift is well defined and handled. Unless you've already checked that, a ChordLift with an Empty action ma...

There is a difference between your configuration file and mine: I have such a combination working as expected that has a "Minimum Hold Time" of 350ms where yours has only 125ms. You may check with a higher value there because such a short time qualifies even for a tap. Thumb+Pimky (L Spread) Hold Pu...

Yes! and I just figured out one way to explain why FingerWorks guys terminated their activity: It would be a much brighter future for the technology with Apple than without. Maybe Apple made a commitment to resuscitate the ToutchStream against their saved asses :P It would make it easier to understa...

Sure, but you have work to do for this to happen ;) It's my understanding that this trait is each application responsibility. But the way to achieve the result goes through the discovery of an already running instance. And this can be done either by a new process instance that would wake the old one...

Some suggestions here:  Maybe a compatibility issue? Even with jdk160, you can compile a backward compatible USB library with a recent source code: javac -source 1.? -target 1.4 :?: We could learn something useful from error messages with a command-line launch: java \ -classpath \ lax.jar; \ l...

Re: How to enable all gestures, independent of current OS Mo
Does anybody know how to make all gestures work in Mac mode as well, or will I have to forego the nice switching between Linux and Mac and just reprogram my Emacs mode for the Mac only? You have to edit your customization file: C:\Documents and Settings\ivan\My Documents\MyGestures\jwr.xml Removing...

jwr did just that with good results! The problem is about finding which part of an array is malfunctioning, meaning that it is not as difficult as it would be with some single damaged part you can compare to a working one only if you have a spare unit to work with. You should give people who can he...

I believe that it must not be very difficult to learn more about the status of this patent from Wayne Westerman or John Elias. But I think that what made them stop Fingerworks activities would still be in the way of a rebirth. A simple achievement like making the iPod reliable for Apple is enough to...

Many pages are still on-line you can't access from any of the few public entries left.
But I managed to save a link to this layout page in the FingerWoks Web site: U.S. Layouts.

At last, five days later, I received a useful answer. I'm afraid I have no solution for this issue because I had no problem to solve as it worked after my first trial: http://img524.imageshack.us/img524/4259/ts2handssg4.png ...This may have to do with some Global Feature Selector choice but I could not figure out which one.
