There's a difference between iGesture pads and the TouchStream keyboard. I'm not sure about the iGesture, but the keyboard by default is like this: right hand two fingers = mousing right hand three fingers = dragging left hand two fingers = cursoring (arrows) left hand three fingers = selection (shi...

Re: Ask Wayne

The image on the cesweb site shows something that looks a bit different from the existing products Not really; doesn't it look rather like an iGesture Pad built into a stand with a gel wrist support? New shape, same content? I wish someone could at least tell us who bought FingerWorks. They're sure...

 I think we have more chances to get an answer if our webmaster (i.e. Torben) would send an email as an acting emissary of the forum community... Your ideas are good, and I think this should be followed through! I am in the middle of moving to a different country and looking for a new job (by...

Re: Rescue mission

what to do next to have people accessing the dead forum to come here. :?: There's not much we can do -- that's why I have recently been very active in the old forum to refer people to the new forum -- so that at least some posts link here. Apart from that, I've notified Google to add a link to here...

Good thing we managed to get this site established in time, so at least people can find some FW info even if FW.com goes away entirely. And it seems it will go away. What I can't understand is why they disable it in so small steps. Either pull the plug, or leave it be. Good for us that there is stil...

Re: Closing of FW?

gregvr wrote:Since when are we sure that FW is closing?
Well, it's not been stated officially, but we have heard silence for a long time, so we can assume that there will not come more news from FW. If any, I would expect to hear from whoever bought FW, but that's another story.

Congratulations and welcome

I think you'll be very satisfied with your new "mousepad" :)

It's true that with the closing of FW, there will be no more software updates or hardware support, but apart from that you should be well covered in this community, because there are some veterans in here.

Welcome!

Thanks for the feedback, all. Michael, I am not going to remove this post because there is no grounds for it; we have no rules against such posts and, as Syne correctly points out, this is the Marketplace forum. I also empathize with Ergocanada about their situation in a frenzied market. I was not a...

If you are going to make an auction out of it, then please use Ebay . At least that's a common method and everybody can see the process and the bids. How else will we know that you're not hoaxing us? While I sense that your business is honest, I'm not in favor of your method here. This is clearly a ...

Perhaps the pad gets confused about which fingers are on the pad because of your finger placement and/or hand size? About hand size, there's a sider in the software to adjust if you've size "Jordan" or "baby" hands... that might help. About which fingers, are you keeping a relaxed "stance" with the ...
