MacNTouch cables

Hello, I am in the process of getting the details of having the MacNTouch cables recreated for those that have damaged cables or want a spare set as they are not available from FingerWorks. I am not sure of pricing needs yet as I am still talking to them about the prototyping stage. When I find out ...

it means...

it means he posted a link to a video clip on youtube showing him touch typing, fast, and not making any mistakes - hence no backspace. Although you can't see the screen so who knows what he typed. maybe just never touched the backspace and didn't say anything. Who knows?

Old fingerworks site

I read somewhere that all the original images and such are still ON the fingerworks site just not linked to. Is it possible to download the site tree worth of files even though the files aren't linked to?

I've tried programs like wget but have not found the solution.

Not so sure it's a custom board

When I received the MacNTouch, it had 1 cable obviously messed with, plus the L board plus another cable ALMOST like the built in cable. After looking over the install docs and such i have figured out all these cables... if you look at the back of the board in <a href="http://www.tycomsystems.com/fi...

just maybe...

If it is built like my silver MacNTouch, then you could just change the cable. Would have to remove the tabs too... Apparently the cable is a copper foil ribbon on Kapton tape. It has 4 traces with the same pitch as the USB standard and terminate on one end in a 20 pin 1mm pitch for the ZIF socket i...

I am the new owner

I contacted the person who won the original eBay auction asking if there was any interest in selling. We agreed on a price (incidentally, less then original MSRP) and I began the waiting game... 4 days later the UPS package shows up. I open the box and there were the usual gesture cards, the mousing...

USB power output

I have the remaining 4" USB cable from the iGesture... I can measure the voltage out the USB port... that should tell us what the board can handle.

Unless it can draw more power as it needs? doesn't sound right though... Hmmm

removable USB cable on iGesture

Well, I had to use an extension cable to use it anyway so I already had the plug in and remove syndrom of that mess. At the end of ...

Mini-USB on iGesture Number Pad

I have dismantled my iGesture Number Pad (gleaned from a iGesture Keyboard). I have harvested a Surface mount USB connector from a broken Sony digital camera. I mapped the colors of wires to the connector internally on the iGesture and will add the mini-USB connector to the iGesture numberpad in pla...

I have one...

I bought a second tent when I got my touchstream in Mar of 2004. I kept it in my drawer at home thinking I would use the touchstream at both work and home. I ended up only using it at work. I have since gotten a second Touchstream LP and it came with a tent as well... so now I have 2 LPs and 3 tents...
