You should get some useful error message from the following procedure: (As I am with Windows, I can't be sure about details but I know you can do that with Java.) Create a shell script in the folder where your FW utility has been installed. (You should see there a file named lax.jar.) Copy&Paste thi...

You're right Betty, it can't hurt us to ask. But it could hurt him... Think about it from the perspective of somebody whose part of his very existence has been obliterated for a price. It's like FingerWorks has never been part of his universe now. For a conclusion, it's likely he won't understand wh...

Product Troubleshooting -> Fruitful TouchStream Repair Tactics Despite appearances, some of us fought hard behind the scenes for a smoother FingerWorks ending, but, if anything, probably made it worse. Even with the benefit of hindsight, we might not manage to thread the chaos of cash, investors, l...

The genuine email address is there for this very reason... Now, testUser1 dead entry should be deleted.

I don't know if it means anything whatsoever, but I never had those errors you describe in your discussion on the Phpbb forum. I've just posted this reply and one in Repairing iGesture pads topic without any problem.

I use Avant browser (meaning IE7 dll's)

OK Betty, I think that with this many defective devices you put on the table  , it starts to make sense considering someone with proper technical skills and equipment would draw some business from a repair facility. I think that any owner of a dysfunctional FingerWorks device would not miss a...

It looks like Launchy makes no process scanning at all. For example, it launches a notepad.exe everytime you ask for one. However, for some smarter processes, you get what you expect as they do this job themselves. They make sure there is only a single instance of themselves running at any single ti...

I saved a copy or the FingerWorks Site-Map before it has been reduced to what it is now . I could upload it to the Wiki DownloadArea . Here is a direct link to this on-line FWSiteMap copy From this page, you can jump to some unlinked still-on-line files. But many links won't work. For instance this ...

That's a nice story. Usually, keyboards don't have more than one life.
BTW, good idea to report about it here for a change as we are not used to things that work the way they should. Would be nice to hear more of the kind.

I wondered why Ivan said he was only 90% satisfied. I appreciate the heads up! Well, the 10% were exactly what The00Dustin did put into words. ...Thanks for the review I've avoided ;).
