I have some snapshots of a very small selection of threads pointed at by the results of some searches at the early stages of my discovering the technology. What I know for sure is that what I will miss most will be those messages I have not read yet :!: ( murphy has more about this ) Anyway achievin...

This has already happened. Most small sites have this latencies during maintenance periods but they are not as closely observed as this one. Truth is that it has some extra success at disappointing this many people. Hundreds of them were actively involved as you could see from the original forum mem...

I knew you would be there for my salvation. Ok, I'll wait for more to be said about this kind of comfort study. But the purpose has more than one subject, the xml files organization is the starting point. If some have questions about these files this is a good time for asking. Any advice is welcome ...

OK, let's start something here on your first topic that could be used as an example in the Wiki about it: create a new XML file manually and upload that into the FW device Hopefully, that would be something that proved to be useful. I have something that qualifies for me. It has to do with text poin...

There is one now on eBay: TouchStream MacNTouch von Fingerworks As you did not bounce on Rqyteqto's message , I thought this could wake you up in time. ...if not, may by the PM copy of this one will  :!:  What are friends worth anyway if they can't do what your waking-clock can do for yo...

I personally don't expect any new iGesture pads or TouchStream LP-like products out from Apple, seems that would go beyond the "basic technology." The facts is that The Fingerworks Adventure has been broken anyway. You can't look at it anymore as the early stages of some success-story. The magic is...

I planned to take my TouchStream with me for the first time tomorrow. (It did not travel more than one meter since I unpacked it six months ago.) Reading your posts reminds me that I'd better think twice. It's all about this  ribbon cable! It would be nice if we could come up with some unplugg...

That conclusion is not consistent with what you get out of this message:
Summary as of April 26, 2005, Updated September 2, 2005
If they are indeed working for Apple it could be one or two years during which we won't hear anything about the technology

Re: that was unreadable...
That's a relatively trivial configuration... I'm trying to detect ANY key click / tap at all... and of course, it does not work. I must be missing something very simple. Thanks again. I don't think so. Anyway I am missing it too because I really don't know whether what you are trying can be done or...

I agree with all Rqyteqto said. I don't have an iGesture or a NumberPad, meaning that I can't experiment on how far one can cheat with customization. The hardware signature sensed by the editor when it starts makes that you can't use it with these boards as you would with a TouchStream. This means t...

I would be willing to upload mine if this were the case. This would be the Wiki but I've never been able to upload anything there. I once found the manufacturer from which FingerWorks used to get the TouchStream-LP gel pads. I Can't remember the name and I don't recall how I got to find it. :? Here is another configuration you can pick from. Re: My experience with the 2030
I do miss the double 00 key on the 2030 ... adding one. Why don't you add it yourself with MyGesture Editor? I don't have an iGesture numpad but I think that you should be able to mimic the 2030's layout. Let us know if this would do the trick. Should you be just missing something about TapArea adj...

Thank you Shawn, this is a real peace of informative review :) Dealing with a TouchStream makes you realize how weird normal keyboard can be. I agree with the "blow in" option because the focused high pressure you install will make cool air blow right in front of the fan. On the other side, when you "blow out", you concentrate warm air outside of the case, which is worth nothing. Heat will be extracted all right but cool air will not be c...

If you are not any near this PC's hell of a place called Hawaii, you may try something simpler first  Setting aside Rqyteqto's level of involvement, I agree with Torben on the simplicity of big 120mm fan(s) solution. Transfer to device - should we be careful?
I would like to experiment a lot with customization but I don't know whether the number of writes to the device memory has a price and if it is 100% safe or not. I did not find any information about the flash memory used by FW. If anyone has ever opened one of these, let us know what you've seen or ...
