Even if they used cheap old flash memory, it will survive at least 10.000 erase cycles, which should be more than enough in any case ;)

I do have a couple concerns. One is that I don't know what age means for the Fingerworks products. Does the keyboard become less responsive? Do they have a certain lifespan? Maybe you can chime in here, nomaded (thanks for the info so far). With no moving parts and good care, maybe the age is simpl...

Yeah, the keyboard of the Macbook is part of its enclosure, so it definitely ain't work. Unfortunately. I've searched for alternatives to the MacnTouch, but couldn't find any. The keyboard part is no problem, but the mousing is unique. I first overread that your MacnTouch is still new. That increase...

I have a DVORAK Touchstream LP and am searching for a MacnTouch for my upcoming Macbook Pro, but trading? Sry, the Touchstream was much more expensive. Why arent you using a Macbook Pro with Windows? Or is that a notebook of your company?

Multitouch Utilities are not working anymore (OSX.3)

Every time I want to start the Multitouch Utilities, the icon jumps a few times and then disappears. I know it worked once but for some time it doesn't anymore and I don't know why. I already re-installed it a couple of times, but it doesn't help. I'm running Mac OSX.3. Could anyone help me, please?...

Which notebooks are compatible w/ MacnTouch?

I would like to know what experiences you made with the compatibility of the MacnTouch to other (x86) notebooks than the Power/iBooks.
Are there any notebooks from Asus or Sony that are compatible? Samsung seems not to be compatible.

Tried it again: Custumized the layout and sent the new XML file to the TS - same problem, typing works, but nothing else. :(

First time I tried it was the old 1.35 Firmware. As it didn't work, I upgraded to the new 1.6 firmware. Still doesn't work, though.

TS doesn't work properly anymore after editing the layout

Everytime I try to change the keyboard layout with the editor and then update the firmware, neither the mousing nor the gesturing work anymore, only the typing still works. It is only fixable by re-upgrading the firmware with the upgrade software. This error is reproducable. Does anyone know why thi...

What is this "popup" key for?

Hi, could anyone tell me what this "popup" key is for, please? The useless button on the right, labeled "insert", at least transforms the cursor into a question mark (though I don't know why or what for), but the "popup" key doesn't seam to have a function. I've lost my handbook and didn't find anyt...

On a normal keyboard I used to write up to 50-60 words a minute. Until about a week, I got only up to ca. 20 wpm on my TS. But in the past few days, I somehow assimilated to the flat-surface typing and get up to 35 wpm now. I still misstype the letters rather often, but anyhow it's not a struggle an...

I would love to change the print on the surface. I've got a DVORAK layouted TS, but miss the German Umlaute. There are many keys I do not use (and some I do not even know what they are for lol), which I would like to remap. It would also be nice to have a paint which gleams in the dark.

Hi, as far as I know the iGesture Pad is kind of one half of the TS w/out the typing feature. So you can do mousing and gesturing but not typing. It's definitely inferior to the TS. The Mini Keyboard is a miniturized version of the TS, which leads to reduced ergonomics due to its small and flat form...
