Re: Building a FW device into a desk?!

Not yet. I thought about it though but with the recess on the bottom of the desk. Making use of the capacitive function of the keyboard you could operate it by typing/gesturing on your desk. In this way you make the desk a keyboard. But this is going to be very difficult I think and you need somethi...

Re: contact_example.exe

Wow, I didn't no this program existed. There are a few programs that can do this. I think autohotkey is the best option. http://www.howtogeek.com/196958/the-3-best-ways-to-make-a-window-always-on-top-on-windows/ There is something about that here: http://www.autohotkey.com/board/topic/89353-winset-b...

Re: Digitouch in Samsung 500T docking keyboard

Your guess is right, the original docking keyboard has two usb ports. I just used one of these to connect it to the digitouch. In the hinge there is some kind of connector for the tablet connecting these two usb ports and the original keyboard.

Re: Digitouch in Samsung 500T docking keyboard

The white plastic was necessary to cover up the inside and keep the digitouch from sliding to one of the sides. The original keyboard was larger so I clued these plastic pieces on it. In the last picture it was not clued yet. The plastic pieces are the same color as the keyboard because I used a spa...

Digitouch in Samsung 500T docking keyboard

Hi everyone, A year ago I bought a digitouch to go with my android tablet. The compact form compared to the tslp was ideal for on the go use. First I thought about making something what Minox did with his digitouch. However, I did not like the usb cable but making it wireless was to difficult. Recen...

Re: What is the typing surface made of?

I used some sticker paper and printed another layout on it but it doesn't last very long. It is easy replaced but after a while it does not look very nice anymore. I thought about removing the lexan surface and changing it with hpl (high pressure laminate) but I could not find anything to print some...

Re: Make touchstream wireless using bluetooth

At the moment I use two touchstreams one for each hand. I attached them to my chair and I'm planning to make it wireless. Bought a wireless usb hub but it still needs a battery to make it wireless. Also it has some glitches so maybe this bluetooth adapter is a good option.

Make touchstream wireless using bluetooth

Hey, When I was surfing the web I came across this device. http://handheldsci.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/bt_kb512.png http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RTEKN1UO8cc It is an easy way to make your fingerworks device wireless. I wonder how long the battery will last. It says it can go up to 120 mA. Here ar...

Re: Burgundy TouchStream LP Dvorak on eBay

I've received the touchstream yesterday and after some testing I can say that the right panel is working fine. Diagnostics says it has 80 bad sensors but changing the left panel with the one I have left it is working just fine. So the cable was not the problem indeed but rather something in the left...

Re: Burgundy TouchStream LP Dvorak on eBay

It does not matter if the chip for communication is not working. I will not use the ribbon cable anyway. This is realy what I am looking for because it is also dvorak. Although I have a spare tent stand I do not have good wrist rests so I rather would like the one in good shape. Last year I bought a...

Lazy Pad

Another keyboard and mous combo. I find the left panel interesting because the space between the keys is raised. Maybe this could solve the problem of drift for something like the touchstream. (only the right panel is used for mousing) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wireless-Bluetooth-Lazypad-keyboard-and-...

Hi jmadison,

Just looked at your TS on your webpage. They look really good, also like the case for transporting the touchstream. I might get such a case myself one day. I'm interested in your extension of the ribbon cable. Keep us posted how it wil work out.

Thanks

I don't really look at my touchstream while typing or gesturing so I do not know if it is really adding anything at all. It wil cool I gues but that is it. If there wil be an app wich can replace the touchstream it might stil be not as good as the touchstream. The iPad probably produces heat wich ca...

Looks like a nice product to me. Won't need one really since it doesn't add anything that my touchstream can't do. It can be usefull for people who don't have an iGesture or TouchStream.
