Yes, I do have a problem with the system, but that does not preclude me from having a rational discussion about it. It's the same logic certain people use to discredit those who opposed the invasion of Iraq - if you oppose, you're unpatriotic and can not be reasoned with. How reasonable is that? I s...

Wonderfully? You mean the system that allows 40 million people to not have health insurance, the system where full time minimum wage means living under the poverty line, the system which systematically penalizes those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds (in terms of quality of schools, acces...

I think my complaint is completely warranted, though I agree that I don't have to buy from them. In fact I will never do it again. However, my question was one of business ethics and practices. This American obsession with the phrase "well, if you don't want to, nobody is forcing you" is a pathetic ...

Human Solution ethics

I bought an igesture from Humansolutions.com for $189. I accepted paying $20 more than what Fingerworks was selling them for since they are so scarce. Today I was at J&R in NYC and was looking at printers and on the shelf between two printers was an igesture box! It felt like destiny and I could...

I've now used it for a little while and can say that it's simply great. And I'm surprised with how easy it is to get into the swing of it with the gestures. Get it and enjoy! As long as it doesn't break down, there's no real worry about software and firmware upgrades since the basic functionality is...

I was in the same situation last week and decided that it was worth it. It will most likely work perfectly and if there is a problem, there is still support through fingerworks apparently. i am not sure how it would work in Australia though. In any case, chances are we will not need support. TO me i...

that IS it.It would be interesting to know if they sold their technology or if it's all over. I can't believe that such great technology would not be further developed....

Oh well...

another change

now they seem to have removed the customer support menu. But if you put your cursor where it used to be it still comes up. I'm amazed at how poorly this is being handled. Incredibly sad for what seems like a great product. Do they not have any obligation to existing customers?

That is depressing and does seem like it's the end. I think it's obvious that the technology will still continue to be developed by somebody, but it seems it's the end of this company. It would really make sense if Apple bought it given that they've been so reluctant to incorporate a two-button desi...

My main concern (and the reason for my purchase now) was that the technology would be bought by a big company like Apple and only used in their products, as opposed to in stand alone products like igesture. Not that I wouldn't love to see igesture built into the next powerbook - that would be great.

Well, I decided to order one from the human solution even though pricier than I had wished for. If I can get a few years of good use out of it, I'll be happy. It seems like a great product and it's sad that it might not continue to be manufactured. Hope I didn't make a mistake with this. $189 is a l...

Where can I get igesture?

I ordered and igesture pad from an online shop in CA and just got a note that it's not available anymore. I'm aware of the situation with the company, but was wondering if there is any place that still has these at a reasonable price? I noticed humansolution.com but am reluctant to pay $20 more than...
