For Sale Touchstream LP and Mini

LP has noisy sensor readings in the upper left hand corner, original stand and documentation.
Mini is in excellent condition.

Offered here before I put them on ebay.

Mine arrived within a week of sending the fax. Maybe you should try contacting them.

Eric,

Out of interest, will the keyboards be supplied in kit form like Torben's review unit, or will they be already assembled?

Thanks,

Daniel.

These rules seem entirely reasonable to me. Is it worth adding a "first come, first served" clause in case there are more people than units.

I can picture speculators signing up to the forum just to get on the list.

This is excellent news, especially considering current prices on ebay. I've been looking for a backup keyboard for months but can't justify spending what they're currently going for. Would you mind re-posting the picture (or a link) the current attachment seems to be broken. Thanks again, Daniel.

I have asked the administrator to uninstall the default Microsoft HID devices. I'm hoping that on a restart the Fingerworks ones will be picked up instead.

I'll post my findings for posterity :D

No Fingerworks Device Found

I've just moved jobs and company policy is to not allow Administrator access tp PCs. A system administrator has installed the FW utils for me and they seem to be working. However the keyboard is not detected. If I unplug/replug my TS I get the usual HID device messages and everything else is working...

US shipping only

Still I shouldn't complain as I already have a Mini. I would recommend these either as a backup or for use with a laptop. Mine is currently paired with my Mac Mini

Thanks for the information, I've been doing a bit of research myself. It seems to me that the differences aren't insurmountable. Most of my typing is based around alphanumerics and the programmers punctution pad which I seem to use instinctively. I was thinking this may make a good backup keyboard t...

I use my mini on both Mac and Windows via a KVM switch with no problems at all. You might want to map some gestures for expose. I find the fn keys on the mini a little fiddly.

Just my tuppence worth... If it helps the site I don't have a problem with text ads. I find them very inoffensive. If it were musical flash popups, then that would be a different matter

I don't move my TS unless absolutely necessary, it lives at work. I bought myself a Mini to travel with my laptop. One piece, no ribbon cable so I'm hoping it will be fairly robust.

My TS is coming up for two years old and I've never had a problem with it. But, it rarely moves from my desk and gets folded up.

After problems that other people have had I bought myself a Mini to use at home to save moving the TS.

I would be lost if it ever packed up.
