Middle mouse drag unpredictable
The middle mouse button dragging has changed in the outliner window in Maya 2017. Items get dropped in a random order. It works fine with a mouse.
I think it has something to do with the new UI changes in Maya.
Is there something that can be tweaked in the Gesture editor to fix this?

Maya 2016
Hi, I don't suppose anyone here uses Maya with a touchstream? Ive just upgraded to 2016 from 2015 and my keyboard shorcuts don't work the same. Often I have to press it twice. However it works fine with a regular keyboard. Im wondering what could cause such a change in a software program to cause su...

Xwinder - how does it work?
Hi, I just installed some new software that seems to continuously refresh a window. However, it was very buggy to use. I found out it was conflicting with X-Winder. I closed X-Winder and it ran fine. The question is - What is X-Winder doing behind the scenes that is causing this conflict? Any inform...

Spurious random keystrokes
Hi, I have noticed when typing my TS is producing some random key strokes. I have noticed the cable is starting to fray and I am wondering if that is the connection. The whole hand rest gesture seems to reset it temporarily but the problem usually returns. I cleaned the keyboard which helped tempora...

Floaty mouse pointer
I noticed on a netbook recently that when you moved the mouse pointer with its trackpad the mouse pointer floated slowly to a stop when I released my fingers.
Does anyone know if this is a windows 7 feature or is there some software required?
Do you think it work fine with a TS?
Cheers,
lee

What software works best with your Fingerworks device?
For me it is most software that works well with a keyboard. Examples being: Opera - fully configurable with keyboard shortcuts - no mousing required. Spotify - easy to tab and type music - no mousing required Picasa - arrow swipe gestures between pictures work well. Windows XP (I find Windows 7 more...

Where are the multi touch keyboards?
With the success of touch tablet computing and phones, I thought I would have seen more of an attempt at introducing mainstream multi-touch technology to workstations by now? Is everyone just waiting for Apple to lead the way or are patents stopping its development? Maybe its the lack of tactile res...

Mobile Phone
The number of times my mobile phone has shut down my computer thanks to my TS is getting silly.
Anyone got any other suggestions how I can avoid this, apart from leaping out of the room every time it goes off?
Cheers,
Lee
