I have great hopes that Sept 7 will see announcement of something related to this technology - but something tells me it's perhaps an iPod type technology and that anything related to fingerworks might be shooed in a bit more quietly or related strictly to the trackpad of their notebooks. I hope my ...

On one hand it so fits apple in a way. But OTOH, what do they gain by buying the company and completely discontinuing the keyboards? Or implementing a system like this in all Powerbooks? They're good but I don't think people would appreciate having their tactile feedback keyboards taken away just li...

Back to what rolfwind is doing, only those who have an iGesture at hand can experiment further and I only have a TS so I can't. But I have some inputs on this: MyGestureEditor is driven by hardware dependent conditional attributes - they could just be deleted to loosen up relevance controls. A fair...

Anyone get typing with iGesture working? I've been playing about with the software and xml....... after inserting the first tap area into the XML file - the gesture editor reads it and the surface keys icon pop up to my joy....... But still can't get anything to type...... the gesture editor automat...

No, I don't suffer RSI.... yet. Why wait until you do? The money on a keyboard will seem cheap compared to that. A few of my colleagues had started to develop RSI and they tried everything under the sun with the prices to match but I hear from several of them the best solution they tried was working...

I figure if I could get two iGestures working like one TS, it would be almost as good. Actually that's a very good idea - I checked out the documention and this could even be better than a keyboard - I don't see why it couldn't be programmed that way. It could be even better than a keyboard if you ...

Any viable alternatives to touchstream?
Before I made my other post today, I wasn't aware that the company has been bought out. I could and will look on ebay, but with only two on today - I don't think the chances of finding a dvorak covered one is good. I might just buy an iGesture - there are still some around....... Anybody know of goo...

First, thank you guys - you were really really helpful, all three of you:) First off, Fingerworks went out of business, so the only way you'll probably get one of these babies is through Ebay for about $150 over retail, maybe higher. Sorry. :( You know, I went to their site a few times and never not...

Should I buy this product?
Background: I'm a programmer, a couple of years ago in college, I felt pain in my wrist from typing at the end of the day every day one semester. I read about RSI and immediately switched to the Dvorak layout - you know - an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. This layout works fine for me...
