Does version 1.7.0 exist or is this a hoax/virus?

I found this link via Google Alerts: http://wareseeker.com/Utilities/fingerworks-device-dfu-mode-1.7.0.0.zip/1fdc4393d
and it seems to be a driver package for "Fingerworks Device DFU Mode 1.7.0.0", though I am only aware of firmware v1.60 being the newest official driver release.

Does anybody have accurate information on this?

This is the first time I've ever heard of that version of the firmware. Only 1.6.0 is listed on fingerworks.com, but that doesn't really mean anything. I'd be very suspicious of it.
