This is a request to the community to choose a new website administrator to replace me.
Greetings to all the fans of this community website! It's pleasing to see that we have successfully built a user community here after the closing of the fingerworks.com website two and a half years ago. Since then, many of you have been very active contributors to this community website.
You may have noticed that I have not been very active as an administrator in recent months. The reason is that other commitments are demanding an increasing share of my time. In order to let the website continue unimpaired by my diminishing time for administrative tasks, I have decided to pass on the role of website administrator to someone willing to continue this task.
From a technical perspective, it would make sense to let the site continue on this server and under my account, but my successor may choose to change whatever seems necessary. However, it appears to run pretty well as it is, apart from some spam in the forum.
I think that probable candidates would know the "job requirements" so there is no need for me to be specific about it. I will grant my successor full access to the administration of this website. The site uses some HTML, .htaccess, a wiki installation (twiki.org), and a forum (phpbb.com). Administration is through a comprehensive web control panel at Dreamhost.com.
If you are interested, or if you have questions, please respond to this thread. There is no cutoff date; let's just see how long this takes.
