Unhappy Diamond crazy

My touchstream LP has lost the plot. Almost every other word the keyboard traces the reset diamond. Doubleclicking, fast typing or complex gestures make the reset even more frequent.

Diagnostics: no problems
Wipes: no effect
resetting, unplugging or rebooting, no effect
same problem on totally different machine.
cellphones and other sources of inference not present.
Running the latest version firmware, under win2k.

I've had the touchstream for over a year before it developped this problem.

Please help. Techsupport has ignored my month old request so far.
My RSI is coming back with a vengeance, thanks to having to use a normal keyboard and mouse.

Is this the same thing you're getting? If so, it's probably static electricity.

The thing has traced diamonds even when I wasn't touching it, but when I clicked the normal mouse instead. The thing was lying plugged in a foot away from me. So I don't think it's static.

Ah, but it could be. Static can be a weird thing. (EDIT: I'm talking about static-build-up on the surface itself, messing with the sensors, but maybe that's not possible or likely..) It could also be EMI, but it takes something really powerful to affect the sensors. Like high-voltage power lines or a really close cell phone.

Chances are, it's some kind of hardware failure, so email support__AT__fingerworks.com and get the process going on repair/replacement.
