My Touchstream LP goes crazy

Sometimes, like right now, my Touchstream LP doesn't function correctly. It misinterpretes typings and the cursor jumps away and doen't follow my instructions, which makes using the keyboard really hard. It is not always, but in the last time these problems occur more often.
Perhaps the cable is broken, could that be? What shall I do? Shall I send it in to the reseller I bought it at (Arktis.de) or could it just be a software-error?

I'd bet anything it's static electricity. Ground yourself before using the LP and tap your whole hand on each surface to reset the sensors.

If that doesn't help, it may be mechanical, but in my experience, intermittant problems have almost always been either static electricity or EM interference of some kind.
